About Yosef Meystel
Since Yosef Meystel assumed the role of President with Aperion Care in 2006, the property management group saw a 25% increase in net earnings. At the head of the group, which maintains 16 elder care nursing facilities, Mr. Meystel oversaw growth on both micro and macro levels. He supervised day-to-day operations as well as long-term financial strategies and compliance initiatives. The Skokie, Illinois venture provides personalized care to its residents while following a business model that emphasizes acquisition, control, accountability, maintenance, utilization, and disposition. At the helm of Aperion Care, Yosef Meystel oversaw any required maintenance or construction needed.
Mr. Meystel laid the foundation for his career with a rigorous education, earning a Master of Business Administration in Accounting from Indiana University South Bend. Outside of professional engagements, Yosef Meystel plays an active role in the philanthropic community. He provides financial support to the Jewish United Fund/Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago, an organization that offers a range of resources to the population of Illinois. Through the funding of almost 70 programs, the non-profit has provided emergency health care, food, housing, and education for more than a century. His donations help to fund synagogues, volunteer projects, and cultural enrichment efforts. Yosef Meystel also supports Rabbi Paul Caplan of the Temple Anshe Shalom, who leads the congregation in worship. In his spare time, Yosef Meystel enjoys cheering on his favorite soccer, football, basketball, and baseball teams. He also enjoys reading a range of fiction and non-fiction. |
